Watching Youtube videos that are blocked in other countries???

I am working in Africa right now and my younger brothers football coach finished up his highlight video and put it on youtube. I am trying like hell to figure out how I can watch it because there is music on the video and its telling me its blocked at my location.
I have tried the proxy route by making my ip address appear like it is in the U.S., tried several and still didnt work. It told me "Network error try again later"
Then I tried changing the URL link and its the same thing. I tried Tube Mirror and it didnt work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Youtube downloader, by way of a website, to create a mpg on your PC? Shot in the dark, but it may trick the location.
Think I used keepvid before, can't remember the site for sure though.

A true first world problem.
Do you have a YouTube user account?
Sometimes it seems I have to be logged in to view certain videos.

Have you tried a proxy server?
