Well... he sort of made a little comment about "these guys," referencing the finalists, coming from nothing and not having the same opportunities he had. I was like... OK, I know he's not going where I think he's going. And then, BOOM, "I'm just so privileged to be a white, American male."

ok, i didn't see/hear the comment:
--can u tell me if he sounded like he

he's "lucky to have more opportunities than others/minorities" type of thing
or
did it sound clearly like "i'm better because i'm white"?
