that is pretty weird. Out of all the touchdown catches I've ever seen only Santonio Holmes in Superbowl 43 and D.Byrd 2007 Auburn rivals it.

I know D. Byrd's catch was a fantastic game winner but if we're talking about degree of difficulty than Landry's catch is way more impressive. I'm not sure why people in the media don't seem to think it was THAT amazing but you almost never see a one handed catch like that coming in the back of the endzone. Not saying espn hates lsu just that I figured they would have been more impressed

Here's another one - and it's another LSU wide receiver makeing a catch in the back of the end zone - Josh Reed's tippy-toe TD catch against Ga. Tech in the 2000 Chicken Sandwich Bowl. He literally got his big toe down inside the chalk an instantg before his elbow hit the ground.....
