Richard Pryor def did not belong in Superman. Too campy.
And all Superman movies suffer from the same problem--lack of good villains. Lex is Incredibly uninteresting and his goofy attempts to take over the world are also hokey.

This, Superman IV was kinda badass if you were under the age of 12.
Superman III sucked no matter how old you were.
