at Vandy you can sell BOTH the academics and SEC angle; which is a very valuable and unique sell.


That was enough to get one of my HS teammates to play there. The after-effect of him going there was Steve Spurrier having a public meltdown screaming at the guy's mom about how he'd never be on TV at Vandy.


The drawback to Vandy is that they need to be open to recruiting marginal students that can play.

I'm not sure how much their administration is willing to do on that end.

Probably the biggest thing holding them back. They just need to learn to use it as an advantage in recruiting instead of a drawback.
