They are both very solid prospects. What's surprising about both is that they can both do things you don't expect. Jennings is defined as a dual-threat but he looks to pass first and is very good throwing the ball. Rettig is a pro-style but he has pretty good wheels for a big kid, he's very similar to Matt Flynn only a few inches taller and a bigger arm. Jennings I'd say is similar to Tahj Boyd in many aspects, maybe not as big of an arm. I think it'll end up being very similar to the Russell - Flynn years.

I just viewed both of their hudl video highlights and they both look very good. What concerns me is what did they look like on the non highlight plays and can they upconvert to the big time of major college football. You just never know.
I have been following Rettig more closely this year on some of his highlights and he really impresses me at this stage of his development. He is not a runner but is mobile and appears to be able to throw on a roll out comfortably. He has an excellent command of the timing routes (i.e. slants and WR screens). But most of all he already has the ablilty to throw the ball deep and wide. One highlight he hit a 40 yd pass on a go route to the sideline from the opposite hash. Kid has a cannon already.
