first check local game laws.

second get a sufficent rifle (not rim fire)

third figure out two spots 50 yards or more from feeder where you can hunt on opposite sides of the feeder.

Set out with a friend from 1030 or so to early in the am down wind from the feeder. Bring a battery powered spotlight.

friend holds light and you get gun. When he comes out shine and shoot.

ear hole if you want pork, boilerroom if you want him to run off and die.

be ready to make a follow up shot if he charges after first shot.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING AT THE FEEDER PRIOR TO DOING SO. Old boars are smart and have great noses. If you go in and add extra bait or fill the feeder he will know and it will change his pattern. Be quite when you are out there as hogs have good hearing despite common belief.

I have found solar landscape spotlights from wally world do not spook the hogs and are relatively cheap. However, being in there to set them up may tip your hand to the hog. I typically just put them in the legs of the feeder aiming down. I would set up wait a few days then bust his arse.

What BP said.

And right now, at those hours, you can't do shite to that thing without risking green jeans jacking your arse up...

But you might could trap it or snare it.
