My favorite game ever is Dark Souls. It's an incredible RPG. Also check out Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Dark Souls will make you want to murder small animals. Good game, but stupid hard and frustrating at times. For someone who isn't an RPG junkie, this would probably be the last game I would recommend.

Deus Ex: HR is a great game. I found the replay value to be a little lacking, but the story the first time through was amazing.
Dead Island was a fun play. It's an open world zombie gore fest. You could probably get it for cheap since the new one, Riptide, is coming out soon.

I'm not an RPG junkie at all. The only true RPGs in my collection are Oblivion/Skryim, Mass Effect, Witcher 2, and Dark Souls

Another one that was "alright" is Kingdom of Amalur.
It's major flaw was that it got WAY too easy once you leveled up high enough.
I wouldn't put it anywhere near the top of your list though.

Based on comments I've read about the difficulty tho, maybe not for me. I rage enough playing FPS with friends. If I start screaming at AI kicking my ass, my wife will know I've gone full retard

Dead space is a third person shooter. It has a good story and its a lot of fun. Its like resident evil in space.

I don't replay games much anyway. Too many good games out there to play one more than once for me.
There are exceptions, but it's rare I'd play a game twice
