I would rather the Krewe as well, but I don't mind the pelicans.
The logo is going to make it or break it. Hopefully they don't get the same people who did toonces to do this logo.

Nothing has been approved by the league, but Gayle Benson says they want Gold, Red and Navy as the color scheme.

I called it the Fleur de P.
ETA: Clearly, it's too complicated, but it goes to show that cool stuff can be done.
I'm not sure why they can't just slap a bill and feather on the fleur de bee, really.

This. (Although I do love the Fluer De Bee). It really annoys me how every small business in NO feels the need to somehow force their trade into a fluer de lis logo. It's so over-used and unoriginal.
