I really believe that he made strides in this area this year. Still plenty to work on, but he started to step up in the pocket rather that always just being a sitting duck for DE pressure. These are obviously just my observations, but his overall play clearly improved and I think it was largely because of increased pocket awareness, which allowed him to get balls off.

I read yesterday that Mett threw for only 570 yards in his first 4 SEC games but for over 1000 in his last 4 SEC games. I like the trend.
