Not a bad concept there, but needs to be tweaked as seen by some of the comical rankings.
I like the idea of punishing losses, especially bad ones, as well as punishing joke schedules. I also like the bonus for a conference championship and the reward for a quality win. But there has to be a better way to do all that.

How can teams having ranking scores not divisible by 5? Something is wrong with the scoring or we are missing something.

Oh how about all those tough FCS teams you schedule? You do realize your lousy league has the WORST nonleague schedule of any of the BCS teams, right? Oh, but wait YOU PLAY THE SEC!!!! Oh I see, so for the last six years...you...
A) Go .500 in bowl games
B) Play a non-league schedule of opponents with sub .500 records....
C) Play more games against FCS schools...
D) oh and get run by a BIG 12 school you just adopted that SUCKED in the BIG 12 and get bounced around by a FRESHMAN QB?!??! How is that dominant.
E) Oh yeah, but you play SEC teams! RIGHT! Rinse repeat. ANYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN and NO BIAS would see there is plenty of merit here.
OH and by the way I am a better writer and reporter than any of you can be considered "football educated." NEWSFLASH BOZOS anyone not working for ESPN and the Southern Media is completely convinced there are some strange irregularities in the rankings these past four seasons...not so much the first three.... I have no problem with Utah State being 8th because they played a tough schedule. They are similar to TCU who may have beaten Auburn in 2010. Why? Oh IDK they had the land's best defense and Auburn managed a whopping 18 points against a sissy Oregon defense. Please... San Jose State? Almost beat Stanford in Palo Alto, and I am convinced the Cardinal are now the one team in the NON SEC world that would win the SEC. Your offenses? Suck. Your defenses? Defend against bad offenses and FCS teams. Aaron Murray your best QB? The kid is a bonehead. Really? Enough said...keep bantering more results next week.... Stupid people....

i think his issue is that he tried to come up with a universal system to rank teams by wins, made a 24 team playoff (why 24? i don't know), and then ran the results and didn't think about how these results may be a bit wonky

And he truly is a moron if he thinks that a 12-0 MAC team is equivalent to a 12-0 SEC team. Kige Ramsey could do a better job with a playoff system.
