I think Pelicans is awesome. It's unique and represents Louisiana.

Spin it anyway you want but pelicans is a terrible name. I think brass was pretty good whoever suggested that. Jazz would be perfect.

I agree. I like Pelicans, the state bird, logo, etc. Love seeing the Pelicans glide of Lake Pontchartrain, very beautiful site.

People don't get it. It's part of the state's symbol. State flag, state nickname, etc.

People act like you can just take the Jazz name back. Utah has had the name for 30+ years. You can't just take it.
