GrandDad...familiarize yourself with the principle of relativity. Then all of this will make sense to you

Success is relative to where you are. Do you think a school like Vandy or Kentucky wouldn't call back to back 10 win seasons successful? Well Arky has little history of being a powerhouse so 10 win seasons are success for them.

He had the two best teams in the country in his division last year and to play both of them on the road.

The year before that he had a different undefeated national champion in his division.

Give him some slack.

Competing for the West is a success, Petrino was positioned for a long long future of good football teams.

BB is really really mediocre. He cant out recruit Illinois or Minnesota for Gods sake. Now he has to somehow get talent in a wasteland of highschool football.

- Liked Petrino as our coach and the direction he had the Hogs headed.
- Never thought Petrino was the only coach who could do well at Arkansas.
- Never thought Petrino was irreplaceable. In fact I’ve always operated with the mindset that NOBODY is irreplaceable in any type job.
- Disliked the situation Petrino put the Hogs in and he should have been fired.
- Really like the Bret Bielema hire and think he will do very well at Arkansas.

Got to hand it to Long on two accounts.
1. Making such a great hire
2. Keeping it under wraps for some time now. Don't think this wasn't in the works for several weeks now and perhaps longer.
