I know a lot of tenn fans dont want gundy there but hed actually be a decent hire for a school like arky. They clearly werent getting petersen, patterson, or gruden. This is much better than davis or gus

It isn't like Tennessee is getting any of the names you just mentioned either...

I still don't trust any rumor that originates from fricking Bazzel.
But Gundy would be solid. ESPECIALLY if we can give him top dollar to hire a defensive staff (though OKSt has had more success putting defenders in the NFL than we have of late).

Yeah, pretty dumb considering TN hasn't been shite for a while. Gundy is a proven winner who coaches with Passion. I like him as a hire. Arky has done good with this one. Long may be proving he is a good AD as well. If indeed this hire is true.

I think aside from the big names (patterson, petersen, gruden, etc) gundy was the best candidate out there. Those other 3 probably werent attainable and wont be attainable until some bigger jobs open up. Gundy has enjoyed success at a similar program.
