because you can't win... my latest example:
1. our ee was a cdl driver
2. the state suspended his license
3. he could no longer drive for us (by law), as he no longer had a license.
he filed UE and won! we appealed twice and lost both times. so, you really think it is worth fighting?
and yes, business does pay for UE, it is a percentage of our payroll, adjusted yearly based on UE claims.
