Riley is turning into a beast at LB for the Skins, doesn't hurt that he is learning from one of the best to ever play the position.

so it would have to overturn the ruling on the field of a first down or touch down right? meaning you couldn't just challenge that the ball was 1 yard further ahead?

So is the Giants offense this good or the Skins Defense that bad. I wasn't expecting them to move the ball straight down the field like they did

Skins managed to hold to a field goal but it still seemed too easy

I'm not sure.

I just think I've seen it before where say the ball was marked in the middle of the field say 1 yard short of a first down, and the Coach has challenged the play of an incorrect spot on the field, and the referees have overturned the ruling on the field, thus saying that the ball was 2 feet further or something, thus still being short of the 1st down by 1 foot. Thus, the Coach successfully challenged a play.

Wait and see. For stretches the Giants offense can look utterly amazing, but for long periods of the game/many drives they look mediocre. Eli and the offense disappear usually, but they tend to do well in the late stages of the game.

This is so true. Eli seems to step it up the most when everything is on the line

You cannot prove an offense is good by watching them play this Redskin defense.

You can however prove they are bad.

Skins defense is that bad, they have a good run defense, but the secondary might be the worst in the league, and losing Orakpo/Carriker really hurt the pass rush which in turn made this already shitty secondary look even more shitty. Get Tanard Jackson and Brandon Meriweather back next year thouhgh. Need some CB/Safety depth badly.

The Giants secondary is pretty damn bad, Webster especially. The guy might be a ball hawk with good hands, but he regularly gets beaten and gives up big gains.
