This is not true at all. One of the coaches is a close friend of mine and he says this kid is nothing but respectful, and the grade rumors are just rumors.

LSU has backed off recruiting him. He has had off the field issues and on the field getting into shouting matches with coaches. He's been in love with the girls of Miami in bikinis despite have a son here in Baton Rouge.

If serious you couldn't be more wrong. Not only is him "getting into shouting matches with coaches" completely false but you are also very wrong when it comes to his child. Not only is his child a girl, not a boy, but his daughter is very important in his life and you saying otherwise is completely false/pathetic. LSU is still recruiting Tim, and he is still very interested.

On the first play of the game. Showed good toughness and made some plays in the 4th quarter after playing on an injury the entire game.

Stop with all the Tim Williams talk on the rant. LSU wants no part of him and he wants no part of LSU. It's done he is not coming to LSU.

Before you start spouting off nonsense, read the entire thread. You are obviously misinformed.

I watched that game while back home last weekend. Didn't know he was hurt, but he did make a few plays. U-High got screwed in that game on that incomplete pass.

Have heard the grades rumor before but if so no way he could cut it at ND. I think he has talent but seems very strong for Miami and wanting to leave the state. It's his choice and I am sure he has his reasons so i say good luck to him in his college career except when he plays against LSU.

Hope he commits to LSU on Signing Day and proves all the Naysayers wrong.

Just a shame when people get on here and post shite about topics they know little to nothing about. Very few people truly know what us going on with this kids recruitment.

It's fairly easy to spot those close to the U-High program and those that are clueless and/or believe the movie critic they pay for recruiting information. One of the huge ECA OT's rolled up on his ankle on the second or third play of the game, and he was heavily taped and hobbling the rest of the game. Even with that, he played well. He is physically gifted, and if he was the problem these no-nothing's make him out to be, would his coaches and teammates made him one of the permanent team captains for the playoffs? I wish people that don't know anything about his situation would just STFU. He was always going to be a tough pull for LSU because he didn't grow up caught up in the purple and gold the way a lot of the kids in Louisiana did. I've said that since he first surfaced as a top recruit. If his college coach can keep him motivated, he could be playing on Sundays one day.

Regardless of what the paysites are saying, and I subscribe to a couple so I've read them, LSU is still actively recruiting Williams.

Whether he comes to LSU or not, who really knows, but they haven't stopped pursuing him.

Well is this your opinion or do you know for a fact? And if so, how do you know?

I can only go on what insiders say because they have more ties than I have. They've spoken with people on the staff, so I tend to believe that they aren't just spewing shite out of their mouth (well 247 anyway haha).

But anyway, I'm not saying you're wrong. I'd just like to know what you know. I also find it weird that they would stop recruiting a kid like this cold turkey.

but I thought it was 'confirmed' that the LSU staff backed off and went after LaCouture harder.

Well that should have nothing to do with Williams seeing as though LaCouture is projected to be a DT.

Wasn't just about the position but also the number of commits

I really think we'll be able to add quite a few more. So I don't think it was an issue.

But I'm still waiting to hear why people are so sure his recruitment with LSU is still going on.

It's according to someone closer to the situation than the paysite guys.
