I've never agreed with cheering for the other teams "just because." frick that. Why the hell would you wish for ANY success for the teams that play and compete for recruits against on a yearly basis? That makes absolutely no sense. The only "good" season I could ever imagine for Bama would be Saban quitting, followed by 0-12, followed by the death penalty.
The only West team I ever cheer for in the bowls in State, and that's only because the Tigers own that arse. I wouldn't cheer for Bama or Ole Miss against anyone. Period. I have always disliked Notre Dame, but on gameday, I will be cheering for them to beat Bama. I love the LSU Tigers. I couldn't give less of a damn about anyone else in the SEC.
