I'm not one of the people that feels the need to lecture fans on when they leave a game, but Bowl officials notice things like this.

BS. They only notice the ticket sales. They DGAF if anyone leaves early, they've already collected the gate.

And you don't see the correlation between Bowl tickets sales and a fanbase that doesn't stay past halftime if its not a Top 5 match up? If fans don't stick around in their own stadium, the chances of them buying tickets and traveling during the New Year's holidays for a non Top 5 match up aren't that good. Plus, outside of the Cotton Bowl in 2010, LSU has struggled to sell its allotment to non-BCS bowls in the last 10 years.

absolutely TRUE.
once the ticks are sold, they could care less..

only those that keep trying to make such into a pissing contest and I AM A BETTER FAN because..keep bringing it up.

--- a lot has to do with who gets to pick first... and then the pecking order follows.

They notice TWO things:

Tickets sales

AND

Hotel/business spikes due to visitors in the city

They DGAF about people staying the entire game. But I agree, I hope we do show up well. If we're not into this game I feel that mentality will leak onto the field and Clemson could bite us in the arse.
