Now, I am usually a negatiger, but I've come to my senses about this one. We've faced many obstacles this year (injuries, new qb, short, inexperienced receivers etc etc), and we managed to get to a "bowl" game. We're much better than state, ole miss, usce, and even a&m and many people know this. Being the step-child of the sec isn't all that bad. It just means that when we do make it to the sec championship then we've played the hardest schedule and will be better prepared. I hate bamla more than I hate cats, but you can't tell me it'll give you a much better feeling beating them after having a schedule full of "quality" opponents than playing an away game at TN every year.

I'd rather win championships than feel good about beating alabama with a more quality schedule. If we play Kentucky 13 times and go undefeated and win a championship, I'm happy

It was a good year. A bit of a let down yes, but a good year nonetheless. Proud of our LSU boys and coaches. 10-2.....10-2.....come on folks. We get 10 again. 3 teams in the country can say that in the past 4 years.

Other schools making a continuous run at our Head Coach - what does that tell you! We've got our guy and he's running a good program.

What bowl game doesn't bother me - we have a tough opponent and need to be more concerned with winning that game than what game we 'should've' gone to.

However, being 'the step-child of the SEC' in terms of scheduling is a real problem - too easy to slip up against a top opponent (see Bama vs A&M) after a tough game the week before. When this happens every week, instead of once a season, odds of a loss are high. How we agreed to the 2013 SEC schedule is beyond me - it just reeks of bias, sorry.
