If we were losing to lesser teams I could see this point of view. Ironically the year we did lose to lesser teams we won the NC anyway. I get people being devastated by the BCS CG last year, but beyond that what have we let slip by? 2006 when we lost to 2 top 10 teams in the road? I really think the fact that Bama is going for 3 in 4 years clouds judgement.
Spurrier only won 1 NC at Florida. The LA Times did an article on how USC was like 3 plays away from 3 more NC's in the Carroll era. It happens. We've won 2 and have been right there a couple of other times. We have the talent to be there again, that's all you can ask.
In any fan base, you aren't going to find just 2-3 philosophies or ideas on what makes a good season. No one disputes the program is a very good program but every season is an entity of it's own.
Some fans are just happy with the program while others want more out of an individual season, and feel this program has the potential to be dominant. Just a different way of viewing things.

Define dominant?
Was Florida dominant in the 90's? They won 1 NC. What about USC 2002-2009? Same thing If Bama wins this year it will be only the 2nd time that has ever happened. I don't think that is a fair standard.
I agree every season is an entity of it's own and frankly going 10-2 this season is a great accomplishment given the # of key players we lost thru injury, grades, personal issues and general stupidity, we lost 3 NFL caliber players.
