Nothing intrinsically wrong with it, it just shows where we stand with the conference. And it's behind Bama, UF, UGA, and A&M, which has vaulted over us in the pecking order in its first year in the SEC.

This is true. A&M to the SEC has already had "negative" impact. LSU has always been a considered a bastard step-child in the SEC.

Exactly, some people might like going to Atlanta, but if it was so great why do they get the 5th pick? Does the SEC hate Atlanta?

Probably because Bowl folks know people would rather watch UGA and A&M than LSU.
