Bunch of deranged retards in this thread who think that being 10-2 in a conference with one 12 win team, two 11 win teams, and two more 10 win teams means the team "deserves" better than a middling bowl.

LSU is ranked strictly behind 3 other SEC teams and looked like shite at the end of the season. SC has already convincingly beat Clemson just a week ago, so they aren't going to match them up again in a bowl, and A&M is basically a home team in the Cotton Bowl and will bring a ton of fans, not to mention the interest JFF brings.

LSU got exactly what they deserve for this season. I don't care where they are ranked, the BCS rankings are guesswork at best, given how few meaningful OOC games are played each year. I just know that they are, at best, the 4th ranked team in their own conference, and even that is arguable.

It's not Slive's fault, or Aleva's. They didn't make LSU fail to produce when they needed to, they didn't make LSU play like trash at the end of the season, they didn't make A&M more attractive to the Cotton bowl...

You sir, are a moron.

I'll give you Florida and Blammer (barely), but Georgia is debatable. Anyone else that you would list lost to LSU.

Did they make LSU beat A&M in their own house?
