Why is Stevan Ridley so much better than Mark Ingram in the Pros?

Ridley has better vision, better cutting, and he seems to run harder than Ingram ... Was Ingram that much of a product of a better O-Line in college ala Ron Dayne?
Its not even close really and considering what each team gave up to get their respective back NE looks great here.

Trent has been great for the Browns, no complaints from this Browns fan.

A good number of tailbacks in the league didn't play for big name schools.
