Back on the subject of Gary Barnett:
Colorado should have been in the national title game in 2001 over Nebraska (they beat Nebraska 62-14 and won the Big 12)
Barnett took Northwestern to the Rose Bowl and won the Big Ten.
I think he had one losing season (2000) with Colorado, but even that season he snapped the nation's longest home winning streak (at A&M).

Agree - Barnett is definitely underrated. Unfortunately the whole thing at Colorado will make him persona non grata with most big time programs. Too bad because the guy can coach - his one-back power running scheme was pretty damn good.
