Greatest in-season turnaround in NBA history

What is the worst first 20 game stretch that a team that made the playoffs has had? I've tried to search, but couldn't find a good answer.
The Hornets are 4-11 right now. Over the next 5 games they play the Bucks, Lakers, Griz, Heat and Wiz (total of 20 games). I'm guessing, at best, they go 2-3 over that stretch. Even with Davis and Gordon back by the Griz or Heat, I don't know if they go better than 3-2. So at 6-14 or 7-13, could they still have a chance? They would need to go something like 40-22 the rest of the way. Is that possible?

The way this team has been playing as of late, no.

This team needs a year of coaching under their belts. They aren't fitting Monty's system very well and will need more talent around them to improve

It's hard to win when you have no one active who can really create their own shot.

Doesn't look likely but i would be thrilled with 35 wins

I don't get it, shouldn't this team be better than last years??

Monty said coaching defense 2 years in a row gets old. But he only brings in defense guys that can't score.
Monty ball is all defense, when we have no defense you get this shite

You've replaced productive, hustling veterans with clueless young guys in the back court.
Jack/Beli/Vasquez > Vasquez/Rivers/Roberts/Mason

We lost guys like Landry, Kaman, Ariza, Okafor, and Jack. Vasquez, Thomas, Aminu, and Smith are playing much bigger roles this season. The combination of injuries of key players and role players playing more than they really should plays a big part in it.
