Georgia's wasn't that big of a mistake, if at all. I can see the rationale for pressing the issue with the play you want to run without allowing Alabama to talk it over on defense.

Les has had some whoppers by comparison.

and yet you make a fool of yourself on this board as well eh Gerald.

they had to go hurry up that whole damn drive. them recollecting themselves for a shot at two or maybe 3 plays is better than putting all their eggs in one basket for one last hurry up unorganized play. you know nothing about football or politics.

Wrong: It was a huge mistake. You are down to two plays, clock it, make sure you have the right personnel in the game. Bama knew they were not going to run the ball on the first play, their personnel would not have changed that much. OMG if Les had pulled a boner like Georgia did.
