If we're left sitting at home, Bruce deserves to lose his job for botching the whole situation.

I don't know the details but if it came down to a decline over playing ULM, Bruce can go frick himself. Tech has more history as a program than ULM but there's not a ton of distance between those 2 programs.

Bruce just cost that program a million dollar payout. He should be held accountable.

Tech brought this upon themselves.

If this is indeed the case, how do you go in front of media, the school, fans and players and justify this?

Well, LA Tech had an offer and declined it. So this is all on them. This isn't some great travesty.

Risks have consequences. And those that took that risk should be fired immediately. Give Dooley his old job back.

Yep.

I would hope he didn't turn down the Indy because of being too proud to play ULM.

But if he turned down a guaranteed bowl bid for a spot in the HOD or Liberty bowls that were anything but a sure thing, he's a moron.

Any chance an invite to the Indy Bowl could still be offered?

You can't turn down a bowl game unless you are 100% certain you will receive another one. He really needs to resign. This is gross incompetence.
