Funny thing is, THAT, and assisted tackles are the is the only stats where he was better than Mathieu. Mathieu actually had more solo tackles (59 to 52 for Te'o), more tackles for loss (7.5 to 5.5 for Te'o) more fumble recoveries (4 to 1 for Te'o), more pass breakups (9 to 4 for Te'o) more forced fumbles (6 to 0 for Te'O). And of course Mathieu score 4 TDs to 0 for Te'o.
