I'll throw in another possible reason people leave early or don't show up, the style of football we have played the past few years. If your not a die hard football fan and your there for the social experience, then running the ball and playing great defense isn't sexy enough to stay. I'm not in that group and probably no one on this site is either but I'm sure someone hearing "I'm bored" by their significant other after sobering up can get old pretty quickly.
