I find it interesting how some people just naturally take to being responsible with a gun and some will never be able to get the hang of it. I was never specifically drilled on gun safety, but just picked it up when I was young. I don't even have to think about doing things when I do them, it just goes with what I am doing. Maybe muscle memory?
I have been out with guys that have hunted for a while, and had to take their gun away from them because they kept pointing it at people. I have also been with girls who haven't ever touched a gun and are perfectly safe with it. It is just weird how some people just "get it" without having to think about it
I know this didn't have that much to do with the muzzle sweep in the OP, but every time something like this happens it makes me wonder how we can go about better teaching people to subconsciously be safe because I don't really like it when someone points their gun at my head
