Read lots of SK since I was younger, it is certainly no Stand, but I enjoyed it. I listened to it mainly on walks, that may have stopped me from getting bored with it. He has such a tendency to ramble, but this one kept me engaged, plus I kept thinking how I would cast Buddy Garrity from FNL as Big Jim.
On a more serious note, Joe Abercrombie is amazing.
