Chris O'Dowd is from Ireland. He's become part of Judd Apatow's little crew, and Judd produced the film.

I'm a woman and I absolutely despised Kristen Wiig's character in this movie. Same with Rose Bryne's character. All a bunch of whiny, catty women.

Uneven, but better than I was expecting. I anticipated a wasted two hours. I laughed a few times. I've spent worse evenings.

I can't stand Wiig's hideous man hands.

Her character was a piece of shite. I fricking hated her. So did my wife.

Jon Hamm was the funniest part of this movie. Overall it sucked. It was more depressing watching Wiig's shitty character act like a thundercount the entire movie than it was funny.

It was okay. I thought that were some funny parts, but it wasn't groundbreaking like it was made out to be. My wife enjoyed a lot more than I did.

This guy.

They promo'd it as the chick version of The Hangover. I was actually surprised they didnt make it to Vegas. Seems like they were just trying to hard.

That being said, the whole dress fitting scene is hilarious.

Yes. Even my wife. The fat girl was really funny, she stole every scene she was in. It lasted waaay to long. I don't really care for Wig's little schtick. She clearly isn't capable of carrying a movie. I thought it went into her personal problems and issues too much and a lot of that crap could have been cut out entirely.

It does have a couple of funny scenes though. The airplane scene and the poop scene were really funny.

Because it was marketed as the female "Hangover"?

Fantastic comedy. Kristen Wiig is extremely talented.
Not sure if serious.

Good movie that got too mushy at the end...airplane scene was epic. One of the better scenes I've seen in awhile. Fat chick makes that movie so much better

Completely serious.

This movie got trashed by the "women aren't funny" crowd, which is ridiculous. Kristen Wiig is a really funny woman.

the movie was funny started off funny, by the middle it started to drag and towards the end i was just waiting for the credits to roll. Was really disappointed because it had been built up so much

If there are only one or two things from this movie you found funny, then you either a) were looking to hate it, b) went into it with a shitty mindset, or c) have an awful sense of humor.

My wife and I were really excited to see it and while I wouldn't say the "only" funny parts were those two scenes, those are really the only ones I remember. My wife was even wanting it to be over.

That's another thing. It wasn't made by women, for women. I saw this movie with a girl and have seen it on TV by myself and enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Just because it was a movie made by women doesn't mean that women will necessarily like it more. Nor does it mean that if your wife or significant other didn't like it, then it wasn't good.

Think about all of the funny shite over the years that you've found hilarious and women either didn't get or didn't find funny.
