well your profile says you're a student and you joined the site in 2010. You were probably around 10-14 when you came to New Orleans almost a decade ago. There aren't many places like Nola in the world that have parties every night and festivals almost every single weekend. New Orleans is the light in the shithole that is the southeast.
I doubt you were really seeing the city as a pre-puberty kid walking around one of the best party towns in the world

That's pretty funny, because it was just voted #1 as America's Favorite Place to Visit by Travel + Leisure Magazine. But I guess a 10 year old kid visiting on a baseball tournament would be a better authority on the city of New Orleans.
