He's been weak on his FT shooting but he's been lights out after his 0-6 start behind the arc. Since the Houston game, he's shot 9-16 behind the arc for a whooping 56%.

His problem is and has always been finishing in the lane. He can't handle contact very well and seem to look for contact rather than avoid it. If those shots in the paint continue to fall the way they did against the Clippers, his FG% will shoot up boards.

His poor FG % isn't due to his shooting, when he shoots, I find that he makes his shots at a good rate but when he drives to the basket his % dips down significantly.

There's a misconception that he's a poor shooter, But in reality, he's a poor finisher. His shooting % is misleading due to this very reason.
