If the raise rumors are true.....should LSU fans be a little perturbed?

I mean, since when does going to the chic fil a bowl, getting embarrassed by your rival in front of everyone, losing to that same rival again at home, and losing the state's top recruit (collins) to your rival earn you a raise?
I mean, Les is a great coach and has done great with the program, but he's had his chances for a raise this calendar year. He didn't beat Bama when it mattered, he didn't get the top recruit, and he didn't make a BCS bowl this year. Those were all reasons to give him a raise and he failed every single fricking goal.

if we want to give les a raise, we need to require that he hire an OC he has confidence enough in to run the offense.

Maybe he doesn't deserve a raise but you're only as valuable as someone is willing to pay you. Fortunately for Miles, someone is willing to pay him a lot.

getting a raise based on incentives and getting a raise because another school is trying to steal you away is 2 completely separate issues.
