Gruden has approached a point in his career and legacy that would only see a downshift if he returned to coaching, at any level. His stock is so freakin' high right now, that anything he accomplished as a coach would be seen as a disappointment.

He's not leaving the booth. Accept that.

Didn't think he would do it for other reasons, but you make a really good point.
