Actually, yeah it still is a win. Counts the same whether you win by 2 or 20.

Does it apply when the team playing for the national championship beat BYU and Purdue by 3? Or when they beat Pitt in OT by 6 after Pitt missed a FG to win? Or when they beat Stanford by 7 because of a bad call?
