Gator Bowl

Why not play in the Gator Bowl if our other option is the Chic Fil A Bowl? We played there against SC a number of years back and the trip was a good one.
I am not against going to Atlanta but would like to play a different opponent than what we have previously faced

I can remember a time when, if the Rose, Sugar, Cotton and Orange were John, Paul, George and Ringo, the Gator was Billy Preston. It was easily the most prestigious of the minor bowls.

Thanks, was unsure of the pecking order and too lazy to look it up on my phone....lol
But if the LSU fans are really against going to Atlanta then perhaps should work a deal between the bowls to over ride the selection order

We don't want to go LOWER at 10-2. We want HIGHER.

the Gator Bowl committee was in town during the USC game, i believe. Their bus driver asked if he could park the tour bus right in front of us while we were tailgating. we said no problem then laughed at the idea of LSU actually playing in the gator bowl. oops

Almost like the individuals who laughed at me a few weeks back when I answered the question of which bowl LSU would play in and my answer was Chic Fil A

It's also about the $$$. Gator doesn't pay as much. P
Us, not sure if the SEC is automatically in their rotation like the ACC is.
