Seems like Barbe/West Monroe is the best matchup this week, especially if you want to see Blue Chip talent (Quinn, Smith, Robinson).

A few questions:

1. Anybody think Barbe has a legit shot? I can only remember Barbe beating West Monroe once and that was back when Barbe had Slade Nagle, Joe Lawrence and those guys, and it was a regular season game. When Barbe had that undefeated Janzen Jackson team, they got trucked by W. Monroe in the semis (of course, Janzen was hurt and didn't play).

Is West Monroe that good this year? They looked vulnerable early, getting killed by American Heritage and Calvary. But in the playoffs, they seem like they are taking care of business.

Are they clearly better than Barbe? What do y'all think?

2. West Monroe have any other studs besides Robinson to keep an eye on?

3. Any LC people know if they are going to play it at McNeese, or at Barbe? Either place works for me. Barbe's stadium is probably as nice as any Louisiana prep stadium outside of West Monroe. It would be nice for it to be in a bigger college stadium, though.

Barbe has a very legit shot at winning. Shows is still in the hospital and might not be at the game.

Kids to watch:
8 Xavier Woods BCS level DB
43 Dylan Burdeaux Southern Miss baseball
99 Marklyn England
2 Cade Stone-LSU baseball commit

Doesn't WM have a turf field? Seems keeping it on a natural surface would benefit the Buccaneers, no?

Had no idea he played for Barbe. He helped with the DBs when I was at LSU.
