You heard right on the 10 million quote.

Longhorns to Saban $10 million a year for a 10 year contract. $100 million dollar deal.

If I was a college coach and wasn't loyal to any particular school, Texas and USC are the two best jobs, they both get the top recruits each year and Texas made some very wise financial decisions years ago and could pay what they want.

Same longhorn last night said Sexton called UT about Saban to Texas, asking how much they would be willing to pay for him. They said that they would pay the same as Bama.

Sexton is obviously trying to get Saban a good pay raise/Texas wants a 10 to 15 year coach.

I can't see Saban going for more than 5 more years.

It's sad how some fans will cling to any rumor that gets Saban out of Bama - no matter how baseless and wild the rumor may be. A few questions for those fans:

1) do you really think Bama can't match $10M/ year if necessary to keep Saban at Bama?
2) why do you assume UT would offer a 61 year old - who you all claim is getting tired of the grind - a 10 year deal?
3) what's the motivation to go to Texas?

The rumors come (typically) from a select group of LSU fans who do not represent the rest of LSU fans. Since Saban has been at Bama he was supposed to leave for: LSU, PSU, OSU, ND, USC, WVU (bc thats ""home"), the cowboys, the browns, and now Texas for the third straight year. Keep hoping guys. It's entertaining for the rest of us.
