I honestly think you didn't watch the play. Luiz lowered his shoulder and laid a hit on Mario. He wasn't trying to move away, he was initiating the contact. As far as kicking the ball around an opponent, I guess you are the one that doesn't watch soccer, because players with pace do this all of the time. Hazard and Ramires especially. In fact, if someone is running full speed towards you, it doesn't take much to kick the ball out front and run around him. Right now, you are no better than Man U fans that think they do no wrong. Which really doesn't surprise me.

After seeing the replay, I thought that Balo was trying to put it around Luiz and get to the other side. Once Luiz stepped into him, he went down rather than stumble toward a ball he wouldn't get. It's not a dive because his reaction was consistent with the force of Luiz's tackle. IMO, it should have been a free kick for Man City

I never said he was trying to move away. He stood his ground which he is entitled to do. If it was a basketball game it would have been the most obvious charge of all time.

Right, when there is space to play the ball into. Not at the top of the 18 when surrounded by five players.

We do pretty much everything wrong at the moment.

This is just fricking retarded. Of course that happens. but at the top of the 18 with a baracade of players that he was never going to get through? surely you don't believe he was doing that.

they were both playing for the contact. sheeeit
