that needs to be answerd is. Is the LSU football program heading in the right direction? Forget your personal feelings about CLM and answer the question honestly....Welcome to Positiger country.

Yes. It is. The offense is showing signs of life and the defense will always be relevant. In the years that both click, we will be very good.

Plus, add in the 2nd highest graduation rate in the conference behind Vandy.

Boom
People often forget the student part of student-athletes.

Depends on your definition of the right direction. For 95% of the fans, I would say yes.

LSU has lived in the Top 10 of college football since 11/2010.
Seems like a high cotton direction to me.

It's been heading in the right direction since 2001...reached it's destination in 2003, and has remained there ever since.
The question as I see it is what is that destination? If the only way fans of LSU will be happy is with an SEC title and NC under our belts every year, than they will never be happy.
Myself? I want to be in a position to play for the SEC title every year, and in turn that will almost certainly mean we're in or around the conversation for the National Title. This makes LSU's program a perennial Top 5 program. We're there already, and as a fan that's been following LSU since 1982 when our only REAL goal was vying for a New Year's day bowl and a respectable end of season ranking, I couldn't be happier.
If that's not good enough, my suggestion is it may very well be time for you to find something else to occupy your time.

My thoughts exactly. If we are considered one of the favorites for ATL everything else falls in place.
