Hypothetically speaking lets assume i missesd a pretty good buck at point blank range this morning, hypothetically of course 
Is there any chance that I'd see him again?

Depends if he is chasing puss.... If he is, 'and" the puss leads him to you, 'and' you are not in the same spot, 'and' he doesn't sense you...... Then you might see him again.
But with all of that being said....you stand about as good of a chance of seeing him again as LSU stands a chance at reaching the NC Game this year. There are some extreeme possibilities that it could happen..l.but very unlikely.
