Will Tom Rinaldi ever run out of special people and cancer patients to exploit?

I actually enjoyed that piece by Rinaldi. Awesome to see that kid kick a field goal to win the state championship for his high school.

Little did Todd know that his dog Skippy had testicular cancer. From that moment on Todd played the rest of his junior high football career as if it was his last. Not a day went by that Todd didn't have Skippy by his side.

What if i told you a dead person scored 7 TD's in his high schools championship game, leading his team to victory.

I haven't watched a Tom Rinaldi piece this year and this is the first Saturday that I've watched more than 15 minutes of Gameday this season

The last thing I remember from Rinaldi was his Tiger Woods interview post-having sex with 100 women, where he gave him that baby smooth whisper tone of voice.

No kidding.

They go from talking about the upcoming college football games - QB's doing this, defense doing that, improved running game in this game, this matchup, that matchup, Corso slurring the whole way...

Then BAM! Now we switch gears to see some kid with ocular cancer or something equally crazy.

I have no idea why they show that. I don't tune in to see some damned 9 year old die from some disease I didn't know existed; I tune in to see people talk about college football while I clean up my TV room.

It's a total buzz-kill and completely out of place, IMO.

Completely uncalled for. He and his girlfriend bunkered down together in a closet, and as I recall he made an attempt to provide extra cover for her, and the tornado ripped them both away and they were slung to different locations. Nobody was at fault of any kind except Mother Nature. Damn man...

Nope, just a little shocked how people think this way. Trash talking and everything is fine when it comes football, but I think it's pretty classless to talk crap about a real life situation where people lost their lives.
