Best catch in LSU history?

It's certainly Top 5...without question.

Only 2 I can think of off the top of my head that were in the same ballpark were the catch Eric Martin made against Nebraska in the Orange Bowl following the 1982 season were he made a flat out diving catch coming across the middle, and his cleat had come off just prior to the dive and you could see the end of his sock dangling around below his toes. Eric Martin just had crazy sick hands. In my mind's eye I remember him completely parallel to the ground and catching it at full extension.

The other was Michael Clayton his freshman year in the SEZ of Tiger Stadium...though I don't recall the opponent, maybe someone else will. It was similar to Landry's in that it was a completely one handed dive while being totally covered in the endzone for a TD. I thin k Landry's was better because not only did he make the one handed stab, but he had to completely spin his body the opposite way to even get his hand on it.

Anyone remember these?

The best catch in LSU history was the Bluegrass Miracle, IMO. What it lacked in terms of pure, athletic ability it made up for in meaningfulness and drama.
