Build, build, build. You will appreciate your weapon much and have a much better knowledge of it's inner workings and how to repair/replace things.

One last thing. Would buying a lowerand BCG w/ charging handlefrom Core 15, an upper]from PSA be a good combo for the price? Would I just need the lower parts and stock?

For the most part. And you can get any BCG, but if you're buying your own I would suggest getting a chrome one because they are a lot easier to clean. Or if you want some bling, you can get the Titanium Nitride bolt carrier. I think it looks pretty sick. (chrome top, TiN bottom)

Awesome man. I am going to buy mine from a local dealer since I am a newbie. Core 15 has been a good name in your eyes?

Nice! Glad to hear it. I have only heard from sales guys in gun shops so have always been skeptical. I am buying mine from a local gunshop that will sell the base for $899 plus a nice optic. I have only heard great things about Core.

Just watch your arse since that was off of slickguns.com Any sense of odd things, dispute it right away. I would love to have ordered that rifle if I wasn't so worried all the time about sites.

The link on slick guns was actually a link to another site peak firearms. I have already been in contact with the rep and they are shipping it in the morning.

Would you mind emailing me at flyau@yahoo.com ? I had been trying to figure out if I should buy from there or not and couldn't even find a number to the business. Would love to hear how you got in contact with them as I would love the Magpul furniture.

I think I'm about to have a line on some cheap AR stripped lowers and parts kits in a few days. About half a dozen or so if anybody is interested.
