So our lease manager is planning a dog drive this weekend in s west Mississippi. Is it too early in the season? He apparrently thinks it is 100% fine and gets offended when being questioned about it. He has been deer hunting most of his life in that area so I'm inclined to trust him.
What says the wise and experienced board...

Get in on it and shoot a deer.

Deer get chased by dogs and coyotes all the time. It's normal for them.

What's it too early for? Those deer will come back. And you might get a shot at some of those nocturnal assholes

Cool. I didn't know if it ruins their routine and hightail it off the lease. That's what he said is they will comeback even if chased off for a little while. He complained some people are sensitive to these dog hunts. I'm looking forward to it!

Definitely. It's always fun to drive a place that isn't run a lot. One run won't hurt a thing. Sounds exciting.
