Golden would piss me off too, but for whatever reason he seems pretty to be around 4 or 5 on our list.

Any of you dumb Tennessee fans that say Dan Mullen is a bad hire is fricking stupid, especially when you hired idiot Derek Dooley. And Dan Mullen took a horrible Mississippi State program and made them a relevant one averaging 8 wins a year. I think if you do hire Dan Mullen, it would be a pretty good one.

I agree that he would be a good hire but I don't think he should be Tennessee's top choices. I am still wanting UT to seriously consider Charlie Strong before they go after Gruden, Mullen, etc.

I don't know if Mullen is a candidate because of the NCAA sniffing around Mississippi State. Not sure Tennessee can afford to take that risk. We're still finding sores from Kiffin.
