UT 2006
Someone knows his shite. This is without a doubt the biggest win in his tenure. UT and Bama in 2010 Miles already had a NC a 3 11 win seasons under his belt. Only the tards were calling for his head at that point. But heading into that 06 UT game, he hadn't proven anything, had 2 disappointing losses with a VERY talented team. It was the equivalent of Saban's game at Bama in 2001. After dropping that OM game, he was 4-3, only 12-7 at LSU, and the boobirds and pre internet negatigers were going nuts and were convinced Saban was in over his head. But he finally unleashed Ro and Reed, and with a lot of luck we ended up in ATL and the rest in history. When JR threw that pick 6 to open the second half against UT in 06, putting us down by 2 scores on the road, Miles' career at LSU was on the line. He pulled that team together, and went on a tear that got us to the BCS and another beatdown of a top program. #3 finish leading us to be top 2 preseason in 2007 as Saban came back.to the SEC and we kept rolling to a national title. None of that happens if we lose that UT game IMO.

You're right about TBOB. It was such a heads up move. He never got the credit he deserved.
